Alexis N. Mueller is an associate at Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard, LLP, where he practices in the areas of transactional entertainment law, technology law, digital media law, and intellectual property law. In addition to his transactional work, he frequently assists the litigation department in intellectual property and general commercial cases.

Alexis is an active member of the New York State Bar Association Entertainment and Sports Law Committee and the New York City Bar Association Intellectual Property Law Section, and is a frequent speaker on virtual worlds topics.

Prior to beginning his legal career, Alexis worked as a web-developer and as a game developer for such game studios as Sierra Entertainment and for games such as the MMORPGs EverQuest.
