Official hotel for the Virtual Worlds 2008 Conference is the New Yorker Hotel located at 481 Eighth Avenue, New York, NY 10001.  As the official hotel we've secured the special discounted rate:

  Renovated Queen Rooms:  $229 per night   Renovated Double Rooms:  $249 per night 

All rates are quoted in US Dollars, and are subject to 13.375% Hotel Sales Tax, $2 per room per night Occupancy Tax and a $1.50 per night Javits Expansion Tax. (sorry can't do anything about the taxes).

Reservations must be received by March 23, 2008 to receive the discounted rate.
