Chris Sherman
Executive Director


Chris Executive Director and Founder of Show Initiative, LLC and Virtual Worlds Management, the leading trade media company serving virtual worlds professionals. With more than 17 years experience, Mr. Sherman is one of the world’s foremost experts on the virtual worlds and video game industries. He currently helms Virtual Worlds Management, which produced the industry-defining Virtual Worlds Conference and Expo held in October in San Jose and is organizing the upcoming Virtual Worlds 2008 scheduled to take place April 3-4, 2008, in New York City. Tim Williams
Sales and Marketing Director


Tim Williams joined Virtual Worlds Management / Show Initiative in June 2005. Tim has more than 15 years of experience in the hi-tech and video game industry including key management positions with Midway Home Entertainment, Merit Studios and 7th Level. Prior to Show Initiative, Tim was a senior product manager at United Devices, where he was responsible for the end-to-end product management of the Internet version of United Devices' grid computing software. Leading several large-scale, Internet-based research projects, Tim recruited and maintained a community of 1.1 million volunteers that contributed their personal computer resources to power these Internet-based research projects. Tonda Bunge
Conference Director


As Director, Tonda Bunge is responsible for all aspects of Virtual Worlds Management's conferences and events. Tonda joined Show Initiative in February 2006. As Conference Director, she performs hands-on project management by recruiting speakers and sourcing content as well as being a strategic and tactical director for a series of events, ranging from small seminars to large multi-track conferences. Virtual Worlds benefits from her 10 years of professional experience most recently as the conference director of the industry leading Austin Game Conference and previously as a consultant for Doner Fundraising. She served as the Director of Operations for The Texas Public Policy Foundation and her tenure with The Governor's Business Council. [more]

Joey Seiler
Reporter, VirtualWorldsNews.com


As Staff Reporter, Joey Seiler is responsible for all news and editorial for VirtualWorldsNews.com and Virtual Worlds Weekly. Prior to Show Initiative, Joey worked as a freelance reporter for both print and online media. He served as a contributing editor for [H] Consumer, an online technology magazine, with a focus on consumer electronics. Helping to expand editorial content, Joey reported on tech industry events and news in addition to providing end-user perspective evaluations of high-end computers. His freelance work also includes video game, music, and culture coverage for several papers. He graduated in 2005 with a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin.
