Dan Miller is a Senior Economist at the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress. The Committee evaluates legislation and public policy and advises Congress on economic and policy issues. Dan’s research areas include virtual worlds, tax policy, tort reform, risk and insurance, and other issues. His most recent study is Costs and Consequences of the Federal Estate Tax. Dan previously served as Senior Economic Analyst at the Republican National Committee and political director of a congressional campaign. Dan holds an MBA from Emory, a Master’s in Public Policy from Georgetown, and an A.B. with honors from Brown.
